Heart Failure and Transplantation

Heart Failure and Transplantation

Heart failure is a chronic condition in which the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. It can be caused by various factors such as coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, heart valve disorders, or previous heart attacks. When heart failure progresses to an advanced stage and conventional treatments no longer provide sufficient relief, heart transplantation may be considered as a treatment option.
